Driver Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 Years OTR Experience
- Clean Driving Record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Ability to Run Nationwide OTR
- English Communication Required
Duties
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight carriers.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using forklift or manual methods when necessary.
- Execute route driving assignments across regional or national territories, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
- Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding load status, route changes, or potential issues on the road.
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional truck driver with a valid CDL-A license.
- Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently.
- Prior minimum 3 years experience driving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or similar equipment is highly preferred.
- Delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures and route management.
- Familiarity with forklift operation for loading/unloading freight is a plus.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving.
- Ability to handle various types of freight including dry goods, refrigerated items, or specialized loads such as tanker liquids or flatbed cargo.
