Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and furniture pieces with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise in woodworking, blueprint reading, and various construction techniques will contribute to delivering high-quality products that meet client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial installations, ensuring each piece is crafted to perfection.
Responsibilities
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce custom cabinetry and furniture.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, and siding as needed for project completion.
- Execute precise woodworking tasks including framing, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, and plastering for various projects.
- Manage heavy lifting and material handling safely during fabrication and installation processes.
- Ensure all work complies with blueprint specifications, schematics, and industry standards for quality and safety.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high craftsmanship standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinet making or custom woodworking within the construction or restoration industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures including concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, masonry, and remodeling projects.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols such as power tool safety and proper handling of materials like stucco or siding.
- Previous work involving restoration projects or water damage remediation is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in detailed craftsmanship.
