Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse distribution, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear managerial communication and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Implement process improvements utilizing lean management principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety standards.
- Manage inventory control systems and ensure accurate tracking using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Coordinate the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and other heavy lifting machinery in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Supervise warehouse safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure team adherence to OSHA standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to support distribution center operations and improve overall productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a distribution center environment.
- We are seeking a candidate withprior experience in inventory software migrations. The ideal candidate will have successfully supported or led software transition projects and can help ensure a smooth migration to our new inventory management system.
- The ideal candidate will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and be comfortable using formulas, pivot tables, data validation, reporting, and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, logistics, and materials handling equipment operation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through team leadership skills and managerial communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS).
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation, RF scanners, and heavy lifting tasks.
- Knowledge of lean management techniques and process improvement strategies to streamline workflows.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving processes.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks involving materials handling equipment operation and heavy lifting safely.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
