Overview of role
L.E.K. Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Recruiting Coordinator (Contract) to join our Talent Acquisition team in Chicago. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys creating an exceptional candidate experience. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will provide critical administrative and operational support throughout the recruiting lifecycle, partnering closely with recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and candidates to ensure a seamless hiring process.
This is a three-month contract position with the potential for extension based on business needs and individual performance.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate candidate interviews across multiple calendars, ensuring a seamless scheduling experience for candidates and interview teams.
Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, adjusting interview logistics as needed to ensure an efficient and positive experience for candidates and interviewers.
Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, providing timely communication and a high-quality candidate experience.
Prepare and distribute interview schedules, meeting invitations, and candidate materials.
Monitor interview feedback submissions and follow up with interviewers as needed to ensure timely completion and an efficient hiring process.
Support recruiters with job postings, applicant tracking system (ATS) updates, and candidate record maintenance, and retrieving and preparing candidate resumes and application materials from the ATS to support recruiter screening and review.
Monitor recruiting inboxes and respond promptly to candidate and internal inquiries.
Assist with recruiting events, career fairs, campus recruiting activities, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
Maintain accurate recruiting data and generate reports as requested.
Ensure recruiting processes comply with company policies and documentation requirements.
Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Previous experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, administrative support, or customer service is preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (such as Oleeo, Workday, Greenhouse, or similar) is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently.
Additional Information:
The expected hourly rate for this position is $18-20 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
This role is based in our Chicago office and follows our hybrid work model for U.S. offices. We require employees to be in their assigned home office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, as well as the first Friday of each month.
