We’re looking for a responsible, organized shop assistant and delivery driver to join our team. This is a part-time position, and weekend availability is required. Experience with floral design is preferred but not a requirement. For the right candidate, there is potential to grow into a Floral Designer role.
Job responsibilities:
- Deliver floral arrangements to homes, businesses, and event venues
- Assist in the conditioning, prep, and organization of flowers
- Tend to indoor and outdoor plants
- Fulfill orders and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop
- Assist with delivery and onsite installation of wedding and event flowers
Qualifications & Skills:
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required
- Floristry experience is preferred and experience in wedding/event floristry is a plus.
- Artistry - you have an eye for color and design
- Attention to detail
- Consistent & dependable work ethic
- Willingness to help out with various tasks and learn new skills
- Excellent customer service and ability to work as part of a team
