Position Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Partner to join our growing startup. This is a contract/partnership opportunity for someone with a strong background in business development, staffing, or recruiting who is passionate about helping build a fast-growing company.
You will play a key role in identifying new clients, building strategic partnerships, and expanding SmithStaffing’s presence within the mission-critical industry.
This is a hybrid position offering competitive compensation, with the potential for equity (company ownership/share-based compensation) for the right partner based on performance and long-term commitment.
Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities.
* Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients.
* Generate staffing leads and secure new accounts.
* Collaborate with the recruiting team to deliver top talent.
* Develop strategies to grow SmithStaffing’s client base.
* Represent the company in meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.
Qualifications
* Experience in business development, staffing, recruiting, sales, or account management.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Experience in the engineering or mission-critical data center industry is a plus.
