Job Overview
We are a private Medicare-focused internal medicine practice located in Orlando, FL, seeking a part-time Physician Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a PA who wants a consistent, manageable schedule while treating a broad adult patient population (ages 18+).

Schedule
Wednesday & Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (preferred; some flexibility may be considered)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Medical Doctor, including exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across an adult patient population (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, respiratory illness, infections)
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications as authorized by state law and supervising physician protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using Athena EHR
- Collaborate with the Supervising Medical Doctor, nursing staff, and administrative team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA certified
- Active, unrestricted Florida Physician Assistant license
- Current CAQH profile
- Willingness to work under a Supervising Medical Doctor per Florida collaborative practice guidelines
- Experience with Athena EHR preferred
- Experience in internal medicine preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with a diverse adult patient population
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a collaborative team
