Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Preschool to lead our early childhood education programs with passion and strategic insight. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of preschool operations, ensuring a nurturing, high-quality learning environment that promotes childhood development and educational excellence. Duties
- Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans aligned with early childhood development standards and best practices.
- Lead strategic planning efforts to expand program offerings, improve educational quality, and enhance community engagement.
- Manage budgets effectively, including managing funds for program resources, staff salaries, and facility needs while ensuring financial sustainability.
- Supervise preschool staff through hiring, training, professional development facilitation, performance evaluations, and ongoing mentorship.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that complies with all legal requirements related to early childhood education and school regulations.
- Facilitate faculty evaluation processes to maintain high teaching standards and support instructional leadership in classrooms.
- Ensure adherence to special education laws and childhood development standards while fostering an environment that supports diverse learning needs.
- Represent the preschool at community events through public speaking engagements and outreach initiatives.
- Oversee school administrative functions including enrollment management, compliance documentation, and communication with families.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in early childhood education or preschool administration with demonstrated leadership in managing school staff and programs.
- Proven expertise in curriculum development tailored to early childhood learners.
- Strong background in managing budgets as an executive education administrator with experience in managing financial resources for educational programs.
- In-depth knowledge of educational compliance regulations, including special education law and childhood development standards.
- Experience in school legal knowledge related to preschool operations and personnel management in education settings.
- Skilled in facilitating professional development for educators and supervising classroom instruction effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking, team leadership, and community engagement.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, fundraising efforts, and implementing innovative educational initiatives.
- Prior experience working within K-12 or early childhood education environments with a focus on instructional leadership.
