We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Full-Time Medical Assistant/Front Desk Administrator to join our Medspa team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate the check-in process using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and current medications accurately for each patient
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures across various specialties including dermatology, urgent care, hospital medicine, and outpatient clinics
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilise equipment, and assist with minor procedures such as injections or wound care
- Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, managing patient records, and handling insurance verifications
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all patient information
- Perform basic diagnostic tasks like X-ray assistance or vital sign monitoring in accordance with hospital or clinic protocols
Experience
- Previous experience working in Medspa, dermatology, urgent care, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinics is highly desirable
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with dual expertise in clinical care and front office administration
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical terminology is essential for success in this role
- Prior involvement in inpatient care or emergency medicine settings demonstrates adaptability and resilience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to medical-surgical care or radiology are advantageous
- Experience supporting patient service functions across various specialties including geriatrics or internal medicine will strengthen your application
- Possesses extensive hands-on experience in accurate and efficient blood sampling
