Seeking experienced automotive technician. Must be honest, dependable and a team player. We offer a new climate controlled environment with built in work stations and in-ground lifts. Must have own tools and ability to pass drug screen.
Automotive Technician Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
- Conduct routine maintenance work
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues
- Identify and communicate cause and correction to advisors
- Accurately manage work-load in dealer management system (times, vehicle, etc...)
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Automotive Technician Skills
- Experience as auto mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Ability to handle various tools and some heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
- Good physical condition
- Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
