Warehouse Lead – Air Freight Operations
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join our growing air freight operations team in Somerset, NJ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse operations, air freight cargo handling, PMC build-up, and team leadership. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily warehouse operations and assist with workflow coordination
Oversee cargo handling, air freight processing, and PMC build-up activities
Ensure shipments are handled accurately and efficiently while meeting customer requirements
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and shipments
Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams via email and phone
Assist with loading, unloading, receiving, and shipping operations
Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Train and support warehouse personnel as needed
Monitor productivity and help improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
✔ Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead, Lead Associate, or Supervisor
✔ Air freight experience required
✔ Experience with PMC build-up and cargo handling
✔ Forklift experience required
✔ Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes
✔ Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
✔ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
✔ Strong computer and email communication skills
✔ Ability to lead by example and work in a fast-paced environment
✔ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
