Our client, a worldwide logistics and distribution company, is looking for a 2nd Shift Dock Lead to join their team in Westampton, NJ. In this direct hire role, you will oversee daily loading dock operations, manage warehouse staff, and ensure all inbound and outbound shipments meet strict quality and safety standards in a fast-paced 3PL environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and mentor dock staff while monitoring performance and assigning daily tasks
- Foster a productive, accountable, and safety-focused team environment
- Expedite workflow and adjust operations to accommodate volume fluctuations throughout the shift
- Ensure drivers and packages are dispatched accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Perform data entry, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records
- Update client reporting systems with shipment and inventory data in a timely manner
- Enforce OSHA and facility safety protocols across all dock operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant dock environment at all times
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience in a 3PL warehouse or shipping environment required
- Previous team lead or supervisory experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently on the 2nd shift
Pay & Schedule:
- Pay Rate: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday from 4:15pm-12:30am; 7am-3:30pm.
