Opening in 1997, as a small cable assembly house, our client has grown into a vertically integrated supplier of RF and Microwave components and sub-assemblies. They have successfully supplied product to the military, commercial, medical and electronic industries. With two facilities, occupying 22,000 square feet, state-of-the-art assembly and inspection equipment and the latest engineering software, the company has the ability to provide anything from precision machining to solving their customer's most challenging interconnect requirement, from cable assemblies as well as the capability to integrate components to provide them with a complete sub-assembly.
The company has an immediate need for three CNC Mill Machinists, both Level II and Level III at the Seminole County plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Load and unload raw materials.
•Proficiently use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements,as well as other hand tools and cutting tools.
•Reduce set up time and machining time through process improvements.
•Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications using tools such ascalipers, height gauges, micrometers, rulers etc.
•Clean and perform daily/preventative maintenance of company equipment.
•Assist in organization and maintenance of Machine Shop work environment.
•Utilize and abide by AS9100 requirements and safety procedures.
•Provide feedback and input for process improvement.
•Clear understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures to a high degreein order to train newer employees/co-workers.
•Generate programs at the machine or with software.
•Will be performing geometry, tool wear offsets and program edits.
•Track/record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronicformats.
•Comply with all quality policies and instructions.
•Skillfully communicate thoughts and ideas to both co-workers and management.
•Attend regularly scheduled meetings.
Qualifications / Requirements
•6-8 years CNC Mills experience.
•Proficient at reading and understand mechanical drawings.
•Proficient understanding of and ability to accurately use measuring instruments.
•Must have proficient knowledge of various CNC controls and M and G code.
•Ability to turn on, set up and operate mills with no assistance.
•Must be self-sufficient.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
