Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Afternoon Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team during the critical afternoon shift. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our resort grounds. Your leadership will ensure all facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the facilities maintenance team during the afternoon shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Coordinate maintenance activities for mechanical systems repair, electrical systems troubleshooting, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and low/high voltage electrical work
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track repairs, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues with mechanical and electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and facility safety standards through regular inspections and safety training sessions
- Oversee project management tasks related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget
- Manage facilities maintenance procedures in accordance with safety regulations and best practices for industrial maintenance
Skills
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in a manufacturing or hospitality environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage), and industrial maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, Ohmmeters, and engineering troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance and facilities management
- Experience managing facilities using CMMS software for work order tracking and documentation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects effectively
- Strong communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and vendors effectively
