What You’ll Do:
· Create programs from blueprints using CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Amada, or similar).
· Optimize nesting, tool paths, and machine setup to reduce waste and increase output.
· Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot and improve production processes.
· Support new product launches and ensure parts meet tight tolerances and customer specs.
Requirement:
· 3+ years of experience in programming for sheet metal fabrication.
· Proficiency in SolidWorks, Amada Sheetworks, Dr Abe, and AP100 software, or similar.
· Strong understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes, tolerances, tooling, and material properties, and MIG/TIG/laser welding.
· Experience with nesting software and optimization of material usage.
· Working knowledge of GD&T, lean manufacturing, and quality systems (ISO 9001/AS9100 preferred).
