Director of Rehabilitation
Salary: $105,000 to $115,000 Per Year
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation team at Watertown Health Care Center. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative environment among our interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation programs to meet the needs of patients with various conditions and diagnoses
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans
Supervise and mentor rehabilitation team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care
Conduct staff training and education programs to promote best practices and stay current with industry developments
Monitor and report on program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring effective use of resources
Foster relationships with local medical centers, clinics, and other healthcare organizations to expand referral sources and promote partnerships
Requirements:
At least 1years of experience in a rehabilitation setting
Master's degree in occupational therapy, Physical Therapy, or related field (or equivalent experience), or required education for Physical therapy assistant, Speech Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant
Current licensure/certification in state of residence
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
