The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of general dentistry practices and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
- Take dental x-rays.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage and complete infection control procedures – i.e. prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures as applicable.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care in a busy dental clinic setting.
- Ordering supplies
- Coordinating back office maintenance
- Manage and coordinate daily back-office operations
- Oversee office supply ordering and inventory management
- Lead and support the back-office team to maintain productivity and production goals
- Implement systems and processes to improve office efficiency and workflow
- Monitor office performance metrics and help increase conversions
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and cost management
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines
- Provide training, guidance, and accountability for team members
- Communicate effectively with leadership and front-office staff to support company goals
- Maintain organized records, reports, and operational documentation

Qualifications
- Previous leadership or office management experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage teams and improve workflow productivity
- Experience with budgeting, reporting, or office operations
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet goals
