Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Attendant to ensure our residential or hospitality environments are spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hospitality spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and bathroom sanitation.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to uphold safety standards.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury.
- Manage cleaning supplies inventory and operate janitorial equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with clients or guests to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow time management practices to complete assigned tasks within designated schedules while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with outdoor work as needed, such as patio or outdoor area cleaning, ensuring all spaces are tidy and inviting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays as needed.
