Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly phone etiquette and attentive client communication
- Check guests in and out efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar hospitality reservation systems
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, demonstrating excellent customer service problem-solving skills
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer reservations, inquiries, and emergency calls promptly
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details while adhering to hotel emergency procedures when necessary
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards and resolve any issues swiftly
- Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and prepare reports for management
- Promote guest relations by offering local recommendations, addressing special requests, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse clientele effectively
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving in fast-paced settings
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and resort experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and client interaction across multi-line phone systems
- Previous experience working in hospitality management or front desk roles at hotels or resorts will help you excel in this position
