Job Summary:
We are seeking professional, reliable, and alert Part-Time Security Officers to provide security services at nightclub and entertainment venues. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons, staff, and property while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, violence, and other disturbances
- Enforce venue rules, policies, and applicable laws
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Manage crowd control and assist with entry and exit procedures
- Observe, report, and document incidents accurately and thoroughly
- Communicate effectively with venue management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must possess a valid DC Security Officer license or have the ability to obtain a Security Officer (SO) license within 60 days of hire
- Ability to work effectively in both cold and hot weather conditions
- Strong time-management skills and reliability
- Flexibility to work with short notice
- Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Prior security, nightclub, or customer service experience preferred but not required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
