Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems ensuring timely and correct delivery to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and resetting dining areas to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
Skills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Solid understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, hospitality, and creating welcoming atmospheres
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate bill processing
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
