Overview
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Houseman / Maintenance professional to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Conduct routine floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, light plumbing or electrical work, and reporting larger issues to the appropriate teams.
- Support janitorial activities by replenishing supplies, emptying trash receptacles, and ensuring all areas are well-stocked and organized.
- Maintain safety protocols by inspecting equipment and work areas regularly, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to coordinate schedules and prioritize cleaning or maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or maintenance issues to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or hotel environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and surface maintenance.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality standards helps ensure seamless service delivery.
- Previous roles involving housekeeping management or supervisory responsibilities are a plus but not required.
