Job Summary
American Behavioral Support Services (ABSS) is hiring BHTs and RBTs to provide 1:1 support to children with Autism, ADHD, and behavioral needs in school, home, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Provide 1:1 behavioral support in school, home, and community settings
- Collect and record accurate behavioral data during each session
- Support development of communication, social, and daily living skills
- Utilize behavior management strategies to reduce challenging behaviors
- Maintain timely and accurate session notes in compliance with IBHS and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and clinical team members
- Follow all treatment protocols and supervision guidance
Required Qualifications (CBH & IBHS Compliant)
Candidates must meet Pennsylvania IBHS and Community Behavioral Health (CBH) requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children or adolescents (education, behavioral health, childcare, or related field)
AND ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Completed RBT certification (preferred)
- Completed or willing to complete 40-hour RBT training (provided by ABSS)
- Relevant experience in ABA, special education, or behavioral health
