MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- We are seeking a maintenance tech that has the ability to work independently with excellent communication. Also highly motivated person that enjoy working in a team oriented environment and solo. They must be self-motivated, reliable, and a problem solvers. Individuals must take pride in their work and demonstrate a “Can Do” attitude.
Brief Description/Duties: diagnosing problems and making repairs, appliances installation and repair, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep/maintaining the grounds of the community. Ensure that all repairs are handled in a timely and appropriate manner. Fast- paced, able to multitask, and good organizational skills. Team members should also possess the ability to handle stressful situations and communicate positively with others.
Knowledge/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Hands on experience and general maintenance experience (i.e plumbing, electrical, carpeting, painting, appliance repair, etc.) is preferred with proficiency in at least one major area.
Licenses/Certification: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Requirements: Must pass background check. Must be flexible, work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday and “on-call” situations in a rotation with others.
Physical Requirements: must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50-75 lbs. Must be able to work inside and outside and in all types of weather.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnosing problems and making repairs in all turn units to prepare to move-in ready state.
- Pool and Spa testing, compliance and balancing.
- Conduct inspections of building systems to identify potential issues early and implement timely solutions.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, mechanical parts, or appliances to restore optimal functionality.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by supporting installation and system upgrades as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
- Support team efforts during emergency repairs or urgent maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate during complex repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
