Job Overview
We are seeking several passionate and skilled Pastry Cooks to join our team at Mission Bakery. Our commissary kitchen is located near downtown Roswell, and we sell mostly to cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants around the Atlanta and Roswell areas, including our local Farmer's Market during the summer. We are growing and need more team members to meet demand.
In this role you will be responsible for creating a variety of naturally fermented breads, laminated pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our customers and elevate our culinary offerings.

Duties
- Prepare a variety of sourdough breads, laminate pastries, and other baked goods
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
- Assist in food production processes, including mixing, baking, and finishing products to meet quality standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes, improve existing offerings, and follow established best practices
- Ensure timely completion of orders while managing multiple tasks efficiently
Requirements
- Proven pastry experience and experience in naturally fermented sourdough breads is preferable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering, or bakeries
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
