Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will drive data-driven decision-making by analyzing complex datasets, developing insightful reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes. Your expertise in data analytics tools, business intelligence platforms, and software development lifecycle analysis will be essential in supporting our growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops
- Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms
- Collaborate with IT teams to translate business needs into technical specifications for data models and database design
- Conduct data analysis using SQL databases, R, Python, VBA, and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Support the development of data pipelines utilizing Talend, Oracle, Bash (Unix shell), and other ETL tools for efficient data integration
- Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including testing, deployment, and documentation of analytics solutions
- Assist in requirements analysis for new projects by applying Agile methodologies and project management best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with strong analysis skills and business acumen
- Proficiency in SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle) and query management techniques
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar platforms
- Knowledge of database design principles and data model development
- Familiarity with ETL processes using Talend or similar tools; experience with R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell) is highly desirable
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile project management methodologies
- Strong communication skills to effectively gather requirements and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to analyze complex datasets using Excel data analysis techniques and data analytics tools
