Asphalt CDL Driver — $26–$42 per Hour
Main Executive is hiring a dependable Asphalt CDL Driver to haul asphalt, aggregate, equipment, tools, and supplies to paving projects throughout Appleton, the Fox Valley, Northeast Wisconsin, and surrounding areas.

This is a full-time, hands-on construction position. The Asphalt CDL Driver must safely operate commercial vehicles, coordinate with paving crews, maintain accurate inspection records, and support jobsite operations when driving duties are complete.
Pay is $26–$42 per hour, based on CDL class, driving experience, dump-truck experience, equipment-hauling ability, attendance, safety, and overall performance.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks, commercial vehicles, and trailers
- Haul asphalt, aggregate, equipment, tools, and materials
- Load, secure, inspect, transport, and unload equipment
- Coordinate material deliveries with paving crews and foremen
- Complete daily truck and trailer inspections
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain required driving and inspection records
- Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean
- Report repair or safety concerns promptly
- Assist paving crews when driving duties are complete
- Work safely around traffic, trucks, hot asphalt, and paving equipment
Qualifications
- Valid CDL
- Valid medical card
- Acceptable driving record
- Dump-truck experience preferred
- Asphalt or construction-hauling experience preferred
- Equipment and trailer experience preferred
- Knowledge of load securement procedures
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Ability to safely work around active paving operations
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Early morning start times
- Overtime may be required
- Hours may vary based on weather, workload, and paving schedules
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb into trucks and equipment
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and walk on uneven surfaces
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and changing weather
- Ability to safely work around traffic, trucks, hot asphalt, and paving equipment
