About the Position
PHCA is seeking an experienced Mobile Patrol Officer II to provide solo evening and overnight patrol coverage within the Princeville community. This role is intended for candidates with prior patrol or security experience who can operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain high reporting and professionalism standards.
This position carries greater responsibility and accountability than a standard Mobile Patrol Officer role.
This is a solo, mobile patrol position. This is not a security or law enforcement role.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol Operations
- Conduct independent mobile patrols during evening and overnight hours
- Monitor and document compliance with Association rules and covenants
- Serve as the primary patrol contact during assigned shifts
- Respond professionally to incidents, concerns, and complaints
Reporting & Accountability
- Complete detailed, accurate patrol logs and incident reports
- Identify and flag significant issues, repeat violations, or safety concerns
- Ensure timely submission of all required documentation
Night Operations Support
- Coordinate with external agencies or property staff when needed
- Provide clear shift summaries and communication to patrol supervision or management
- Operate with minimal direct supervision while maintaining adherence to procedures
Professional Standards
- Model consistent, fair, and professional application of community rules
- Maintain a calm, professional demeanor in challenging situations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of patrol, security, or related field experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on solo shifts
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Availability for evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
Preferred:
- Prior patrol, security, or community compliance experience
- Experience in HOA, resort, or community patrol environments
- Guard Card (not required, but must be willing to obtain)
