We are seeking for a Chief Executive Officer responsible to establish the business goals of the bank and assure the development and implementation of an effective business plan to achieve expected profitability and meet strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provides for the keeping of all records; has proper custody of all funds, securities and assets, and makes financial and operating reports periodically to the Board of Directors and to stockholders
- Manages the budget and maintains controls to ensure performance within the budget while ensuring accounting records are kept observing Generally Accepted Accounting Principle.
- Responsible for the management, administration, and credit quality under established policies and regulations
- Provides timely and accurate Call Reports to FCA
- Manages the loan portfolio with established underwriting standard and keeping general financial agreement with the bank in compliance with regulatory minimums for capital and in compliance with any actions or agreement set forth by FCA
- Directs the servicing of loans to ensure the credit need of borrowers are served in a sound constructive and timely manner
- Ensures board and committee minutes are prepared accurately and provided on a timely basis to all directors, the Bank and FCA
- Organizes member relations meetings, staff meetings, director meetings, and annual stockholders’ meetings and participates in each accordingly
- Representing the Bank in the community through marketing events, speaking engagements and working on various committees and promotes the bank by actively participating in local and island-based activities
- Operates with the confines of public law and in conformity with community standards as established.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven to ten years of experience in the banking sector
- Minimum of seven years of middle to upper-level management positions
- Five years of experience managing a commercial credit portfolio
- Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, or Finance
- Fully Bilingual (English | Spanish)
