SUMMARY:
The Slot Attendant serves as frontline ambassador of Casino Pauma, delivering exceptional guest service while assisting guests with slot machine operations, jackpots, payouts, and general casino inquiries. This position requires strong customer service skills, professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to resolve guest concerns in a positive and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide customer assistance by performing minor maintenance to slot machines.

Contact Slot Technicians to make repairs that cannot be completed by the attendant, Provide accurate payment of machine credits to customers.

Answer customer questions about machine operation and the Casino.
- Resolve customer problems and complaints.

Performs minor maintenance of all internal kiosk units.

Acknowledge jackpot winners and make the necessary arrangements for jackpot verification and payout.

Make change for customers as needed; assist customers with other requests to always ensure customer satisfaction.

Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Minimum one (1) year of customer- facing experience in hospitality, gaming, retail restaurant, entertainment, or similar service- oriented environment.
- Previous cash handling experience and/ or knowledge of cash handling procedures.

Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and professionally resolve guest concerns.

Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution- oriented in high-pressure situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Ability to perform basin math calculations and accurately handle cash transactions.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.
