We are seeking an experienced POS Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in Point-of-Sale systems, store-side testing, and deployment activities. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of POS builds, configuration, functional testing, and issue resolution in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Must have Minimum 3 Years of working experience in NCR/GK POS Payment PINPAD Integration with FUEL Pump (gas station) End to End lab testing, added value for Commercial Fuel.
- Design and execute test cases for fuel and retail workflows, covering sales, refunds, promotions, pricing, taxes, and multiple tender types.
- Validate POS integration with backend systems such as OMS, inventory, pricing, loyalty, and payment processors.
- POS Store lab - Functional, System Integration, Regression, DOS command for Integration validation and E2E Testing.
- Conduct fuel‑specific validation including dispenser communication, grade pricing, authorization, settlement, and receipt generation.
- Perform backend data validation using SQL queries to ensure transaction accuracy and data integrity.
- Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA, and maintain test documentation in Confluence.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and fuel vendors to resolve issues and support sprint activities.
Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience with NCR POS and FUEL Pump transaction testing, including end‑to‑end retail workflow validation.
- Self‑driven with a strong focus on delivering high‑quality work, consistently meeting client and customer expectations.
- Proven ability to design and execute test scenarios covering sales, returns, exchanges, refunds, promotions, discounts, tax calculations, and multiple tender types (cash, credit/debit, fleet, and gift cards).
- Strong understanding of POS integrations with Order Management Systems (OMS), inventory, pricing, promotions, loyalty platforms, and payment processing systems.
- Solid knowledge of core retail business processes, including sales operations, returns management, promotional execution, and inventory availability.
- Ability to validate backend data using SQL queries and accurately interpret results to ensure data integrity.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile frameworks.
- Proficient in using JIRA and Confluence for test management, defect tracking, and documentation.
- Demonstrates a proactive, team‑oriented mindset, contributing positively to group objectives and project success.
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
