DUTIES As a successful candidate for the Software Engineer I role, you will serve as a DevOps & Site Reliability Software Developer to join our full-stack AI integration software development team. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver at heart, with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies. You will work in a collaborative environment, focusing on improving our infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our AI-driven applications. Required Skills

- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development teams to improve code deployment processes and application performance
- Help monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance reliability
- Participate in rotations to support our production environments
- Contribute to the development of infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts
- Assist in capacity planning and performance optimization of our AI-driven applications
- Collaborate on documentation of processes, runbooks, and best practices
- Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
QUALIFICATIONS Three (3) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Additional requirements:
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript)
- Understanding of fundamental DevOps concepts and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
