Position: Painter
Shift: Day
Hours: 6AM-2:30PM with some OT as needed
Position Overview:
The primary purpose of this position is to prep, clean, and paint valves for customer shipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and wipe down valves
- Tape all ID tags and lever
- Put socket weld or buttweld covers on valves
- Prime valves and let dry
- Paint valves and let dry
- Remove all tape and affix open/close sticker on lever
- Clean lever and place valve on pallet
- May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor

- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding
- Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative, and organizational skills
- Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy
- Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time
- Able to perform this job’s duties with or without reasonable accommodations
Core Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent required, technical courses preferred
- 5+ years of industrial paint work experience in a manufacturing environment
