Responsibilities
- Sales and dispensing of eyewear and contact lenses with accuracy, ensuring proper fit and alignment of frames and lenses.
- Verify patient prescriptions, perform basic math calculations for lens options.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and state regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and recommend appropriate optical products and accessories.
- Prepare and file patient billing and insurance claims, and coordinate with the lab for spectacle lens fabrication.
