About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Precision Welder with strong TIG and MIG welding experience for immediate hire. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sheet metal welding and working with materials such as galvanized steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented fabricator who can perform high-quality welds on small and complex components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precision MIG and TIG welding on thin-gauge materials
- Weld various metals: sheet metal, galvanized steel, carbon steel, stainless steel
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
- Work to tight tolerances with minimal distortion
- Maintain clean, structurally sound welds that require little to no rework
- Operate tools and welding equipment with precision, including under magnification when needed
- Follow all safety, quality, and shop procedures
- Requirements:
- 2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience
- Strong knowledge of working with thin materials and complex geometries
- Familiarity with precision welding in fabrication or manufacturing settings
- Experience in welding galvanized steel and carbon steel required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) preferred but not required
- Excellent attention to detail, steady hands, and good eyesight
