POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the leadership of the Project Manager, the Program Supervisor assists with the on-site supervision and administration of Goodwill custodial personnel assigned to the contract.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety Responsibility
- Works as part of the management team to create a safe work environment for all associates through a variety of means, including, but not limited to, identifying and addressing potential risks, teaching associates how to safely handle equipment and chemicals, and addressing root causes of prior incidents and/or “near misses”.
- Maintains the department’s commitment to safety by assuming responsibility for OSHA-related compliance, proper storage & maintenance of hazardous materials, and CIMS safety-related initiatives.
General Management Responsibility
- Responsible for the daily supervision of custodial functions during his/her assigned shift to match contract specifications.
- Works as part of the management team to ensure quality standards are met through a variety of measures including random audits of work, performing QC inspections, reviewing.
- Assist with record keeping, staff timekeeping & time clock daily approvals.
- In absence of Program Crew Leader serves main point of contact to lead custodial crews towards the completion of assigned tasks in conformance with contract requirements.
Human Resources/Compliance Responsibility
- Assist in the delivery of on-site Human Resources functions, including hiring, discipline, development, and termination.
- Maintain staff and client morale through promoting good working relationships between supervisors, coworkers, and leadership team.
Financial Responsibility
- Responsible for working with the Program Manager to exercise cost controls, particularly on labor, supplies and repairs, including active participation in those processes.
- Assists the Program Manager in ordering supplies, maintaining equipment and delivery, and caring for assigned vehicles.
Accomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- High school diploma/GED with at least 2-years of leadership experience as a supervisor or any job-related experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to pass required background screening including criminal background, Federal Security Clearance.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; and the ability to be insured under the company’s vehicle insurance policy.
- Must be willing to lead by example with a strong work ethic and standard for operational excellence.
- Must be able to express self well in oral and written form.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing and basic arithmetic (add, subtract, divide and multiply).
- Must be able to use technology to manage assigned shifts, such as smartphones, tablets, and other computer programs.
