Arkansas Talent Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a telecommunications company in Jonesboro, AR.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can manage invoice processing, vendor communication, payment tracking, and month-end support in a fast-paced communications environment.
Responsibilities:

Process, review, and code vendor invoices accurately and on time.

Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.

Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, statements, and questions.

Prepare check runs, track due dates, and maintain accounts payable records.

Assist with month-end close, account analysis, and 1099-related support.

Partner with internal teams to ensure timely approvals and smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Sage Intacct and other accounting systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to manage deadlines and work well in a team environment.

Experience in telecommunications, utilities, or another high-volume service industry is a plus.
