Busy, fast-paced shop is looking for an experienced bather. Please reply if you have worked in a busy, fun, and organized shop before. We are open Tuesday to Saturday and most holidays and looking for someone with open availability. Please only reply if you have experience bathing in a grooming shop.
Job describtion:
Providing support to pet groomers by bathing, brushing, and drying dogs. You will have your own deshed dogs, so knowing trimmings on breeds like Goldens, pomeranins, etc, is a must. The job also includes help bring dogs back and forth to clients, and cleaning in a fast-paced salon. Great customer service is a must. Knowledge of grooming tools, be a self-starter, bathing animals, trimming nails, cleaning ears, deshedding treatments, etc.
Animale care:
Bathe, brush, and dry pets. Knowing dematting, trimming, ear cleaning, nail trimming and filing, and deshedding. We work a lot with large breeds and anxious pets.
Salon Maintenance:
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the grooming salon, kennels, and equipment.
Bathers get tipped well by clients.
Must be self-motivated, good customer service, be hard-working, show initiative, and be a team player.
