Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and residents. Previous experience in custodial or hospitality settings is a plus, as you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of assigned areas.
- Ensure that all rooms, hallways, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Handle laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and floor care as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all standards of cleanliness are met.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices and procedures.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Proficiency in floor care techniques including waxing, buffing, and polishing surfaces.
