Lead Industrial Construction Projects from the Ground Up
We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee industrial construction projects from mobilization through completion. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and with exceptional quality.
You'll serve as the primary on-site leader, coordinating subcontractors, managing daily operations, ensuring OSHA compliance, and working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to keep projects moving forward. The role emphasizes industrial mechanical construction, including piping, structural steel, concrete, electrical coordination, and equipment installation.
What You'll Do
- Lead all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and project schedules.
- Interpret and work from P&IDs, piping isometrics, structural drawings, and electrical plans.
- Conduct subcontractor meetings and communicate project priorities.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and schedule while identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and promote a strong safety culture.
- Track materials, equipment, and inventory supplied to the project.
- Identify construction risks and recommend cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years of industrial construction or site supervision experience.
- Background in pipe welding, pipefitting, or mechanical construction strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical, structural, concrete, and electrical construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on complex industrial projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain if needed).
- Comfortable traveling to project sites and working extended hours when required.
- Experience operating all-terrain forklifts, skid loaders, or man lifts is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, or construction document management software is beneficial.
