St. Francis de Sales School of Toledo, Ohio is accepting applications for a full-time Alumni Engagement Officer. St. Francis de Sales School is a Roman Catholic, Salesian, grade 7-12 all-male college preparatory school, operated by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, serving over 650 students. The Engagement Officer serves as a visible ambassador to alumni and the wider community, identifies prospects for advancement and enrollment and publishes “Knight Life” and Knight Lines, alumni publications. The Engagement Officer oversees reunions and signature alumni events, supports joint-department programs, and provides career support by engaging alumni professionals with students and graduates.
The candidate must be able to cultivate and sustain lifelong engagement efforts and management of alumni social media, while helping to strengthen the school’s mission and lasting connection with its extended community. Must have excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, the ability to problem solve, and be able to collaborate within the department as well as other departments within the school. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or previous relatable experience, must have basic computer literacy skills and technology awareness, the ability to use school software, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google suite. Candidates must have sensitivity to and acceptance of diverse cultures and individuals and must successfully complete the VIRTUS course and a background check.
