Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, medication reviews, and clinical consultations to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Manage inventory levels efficiently, ensuring medication stock accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Administer immunizations and participate in medication administration processes following HIPAA and healthcare confidentiality policies.
- Utilize pharmacy software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions accurately.
- Maintain strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, and drug regulation policies.
- Provide education on medication use, drug regulation updates, and clinical confidentiality policies to staff and patients.
Requirements
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pharmacist License in good standing
- Must have license to administer injectables
