Kloeckner Metals Corporation Tucson is looking for a Warehousing and Production Operators to work 1st Shift. This position includes operation of various machinery and warehousing activities. On the job training provided.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Operation of metalworking machinery.
- Other activities include general labor for loading and unloading and warehousing
- Perform routine operations including loading raw material and start-up/shut down of equipment
- Manual assembly of product with use of manual and powered tools
- Proper stacking and protection of parts as required to maintain specified quality standard
- Ensure accuracy of parts produced by visual inspection and/or by use of standard inspection instruments (i.e., micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Submit first and last piece production for Quality Control approval
- Enter data on production reports regarding shop orders worked on, quantity produced, time worked, etc.
- Follow and verify all instructions provided by work orders and customer specifications
- Comply with all safety practices and Company policies
- Perform basic housekeeping duties.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Warehouse experience
- Prior metalworking, construction, or mechanical trade experience, is ideal
- Able to pass background check
- Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
