Position Title: Data Engineer – Data Integration (Remote)

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer – Data Integration to design, develop, and support enterprise data integration solutions within the Disbursement technology domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica and SQL Server, with experience in ETL development, data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and large-scale data processing. This role will be responsible for building reliable data pipelines, optimizing data flows, and supporting business-critical data initiatives.

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Informatica.
- Build and optimize data integration workflows to support disbursement and financial data processing.
- Develop, maintain, and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects in SQL Server.
- Design and support scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate data from multiple source systems into enterprise data platforms.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data integration and ETL processing.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver data solutions.
- Support cloud-based data initiatives leveraging AWS and Snowflake.
- Participate in data migration, modernization, and automation projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Advanced SQL development experience with SQL Server.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise data integration solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of Sybase database administration and development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Snowflake data platform.
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
- Experience with Snowpark and PySpark for large-scale data processing.
- Exposure to Java development.
- Familiarity with Microsoft .NET applications and integrations.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control systems.
- Financial services, payments, or disbursement domain experience is a plus.
