The Company
FlowTex Energy is a growing investment and operations firm focused on oil and gas exploration and production, with operations expanding into real estate development and the broader capital-raising space. Our investors are high-net-worth, accredited individuals — and everything we put in front of them needs to reflect that.
We're a small, fast-moving team. There is no marketing department. You would be building it.
The Role
We need someone who can take raw project information from leadership and turn it into polished, investor-grade content — then get it in front of the right people, consistently. This is a hands-on, build-it-yourself role. You'll own campaigns from concept to send, design graphics that don't look like templates, and manage the systems that track whether any of it is working.
The role is broad on purpose. We want someone who's excited to figure out what works and bring ideas we haven't thought of yet. If you only want to do one narrow thing, this isn't the right fit. If you want to touch everything and grow fast, keep reading.
What You'll Do
- Own outreach campaigns end to end — build and run pre-contact and cold-lead campaigns from targeting through follow-up
- Create investor-facing content — design graphics, social posts, email visuals, one-pagers, and written content from information provided by leadership
- Manage paid digital advertising — run lead-generation ads and landing pages for new project launches, track ad spend, and report on cost-per-lead
- Build and maintain email systems — set up recurring email cadences, nurture sequences, and drip campaigns; keep deliverability healthy and templates current
- Run the CRM day to day — maintain clean data, optimize reporting and tracking, build campaign groups, and keep the system organized as we scale
- Manage social media presence — plan and post content across platforms on a consistent schedule
- Coordinate outsourced work — oversee external vendors and content partners, making sure output meets our standards and ships on time
- Contribute to platform and product developement — as the company grows, there will be opportunities to help shape internal tools and client-facing platforms beyond traditional marketing
What We're Looking For
- Marketing fundamentals: You understand how campaigns, funnels, and lead generation actually work — whether from school, internships, freelance, or personal projects.
- Design eye: You can produce clean, professional graphics. Canva is fine. What matters is the output doesn't look like clip art.
- Writing ability: You can take rough information and turn it into clear, polished copy that sounds credible to sophisticated investors.
- CRM comfort: You've used a CRM before — HubSpot, Salesforce, Keap, whatever — and you're not afraid of data, lists, and reporting.
- Self-starter instinct: You don't wait to be told what to do next. You see what's missing and go build it.
- Comfortable in unfamiliar territory: Oil and gas isn't glamorous. Capital raising has its own language. You don't need to know either — you just can't be intimidated by them.
