Landscape Crew Leader
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
We are seeking a Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. This role is crucial for leading and developing a landscaping crew, overseeing routes and construction support, and ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance across our properties. As a Landscape Crew Leader, you'll build and mentor a team while contributing significantly to our mission of enriching neighborhoods through exceptional landscape management.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and mentor team members on best practices in landscaping and crew operations
- Manage and complete daily landscaping routes to ensure timely completion
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, mulching, and tree care as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to align landscaping efforts with community goals, including monthly Community Care Clean Up initiatives
- Maintain equipment and tools used for landscaping tasks and enforce best practices
- Oversee dumpster best practices, tool sign-out/return, and maintain our material room
- Report on project progress and address any issues that arise
- Lead vacant unit checks to ensure safety and security of our properties
- During the winter months, work on call in inclement weather, manage multiple snow shoveling routes for rental units, and oversee scheduling of team members for timely route completion
What You Bring
- Proven experience managing a crew, with strong supervisory and mentorship skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping
- Knowledge of lawn care, tree care, and snow removal processes
- Familiarity with basic construction practices is preferred
- Excellent leadership abilities and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including on-call availability during winter months
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Requirements
- 2+ years landscape maintenance experience (preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (required)
