Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations
within a high-volume pick-and-pack fulfillment facility. This role leads inbound
and outbound logistics, inventory management, team supervision, operational
reporting, and process improvement initiatives to ensure efficient fulfillment
operations, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety standards. The
Warehouse Manager serves as a hands-on leader focused on scaling warehouse
systems, improving workflows, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including
receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and freight coordination
across multiple SKUs and product lines.
2. Manage and optimize daily pick-and-pack workflows to meet throughput
targets, order accuracy standards, and service-level expectations in a fast-
paced environment.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and audits,
investigate discrepancies, and coordinate replenishment activities with
operations and purchasing teams.
4. Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate warehouse associates and
temporary staff while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and
continuous improvement.
5. Monitor operational KPIs, including pick accuracy, fulfillment SLA
attainment, inventory shrinkage, and productivity metrics, while identifying
and implementing process improvements.
6. Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, OSHA compliance, and
adherence to standard operating procedures across all warehouse
functions and shifts.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in
Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience in a high-volume
pick-and-pack, distribution, or fulfillment environment with demonstrated
leadership and inventory management experience.
Skills:
1. Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency required; Lightspeed
experience preferred
2. Strong inventory management and operational reporting skills
3. Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
4. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
5. Ability to analyze workflows and implement operational improvements
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Certifications:
Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of
employment.

Work Environment:
This position operates primarily in a warehouse and fulfillment center
environment. The role requires regular movement throughout the facility,
standing for extended periods, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The
Warehouse Manager works in a fast-paced operational setting and may be
required to support multiple shifts and changing business demands.
