Job Summary
The Regional Product Distribution Analyst will enhance product workflow by analyzing production, distribution, and inventory. This role will develop and implement logistics strategies that will enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, improve service levels, and ensure product availability across multiple distribution channels. The incumbent will play a critical part in balancing inventory investments with customer service expectations while maintaining efficient product movement throughout the region.
Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for duties that relates to manifests, vessel confirmation, product allocation, inventory, orders and booking that comply with the organization Sales and Distribution product requirements.

Manage the demand of production associated with sales pre-orders and adjust, as needed, for changes to manifests in the organization D365 system to ensure vessels are assigned to respective ports in North America.

Oversee 3rd party vessel activity and manifests (when applicable).

Responsible for the production validation of goods upon vessel discharge to ensure goods are aligned and disbursed to their respective destination.

Determine the impact of production goods and use reasonable judgement for strategic decisions that impact customer service levels, profitability and vessel utilization.

Lead daily reconciliation of inventory for ports and warehouses as needed, reviewing remaining "bulk" inventories and sales orders to compensate for over/short inventory in warehouses, D365 orders and other aspects, to assure accurate inventories and mitigate any inventory losses. Guide internal teams to resolve discrepancies when found.

Oversee daily inventory management to guide sales and transportation teams to ensure maximization of customer volumes and revenue goals. Proactively address variances due to quality, shipping schedules or container availability.

Forecast banana and plantain demand for divisional customers by analyzing market trends and sales data. Prepare and manage demand planning models needed for LATAM to drive logistics and supply planning.

Troubleshoot daily issues related to sales orders, terminal availability, or LATAM supply variances.

Instrumental in departmental projects designed to drive operational efficiency, cost saving and measures, at request of Lead Product Manager or VP, Ops Services.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics or related field or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in Sales, Distribution or Logistics

Computer proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and email.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

Availability to work a flexible schedule when necessary (nights, weekends, holidays).

Ability to travel as needed for business meetings

D365 experience preferred.
