About the Role:
As an HVAC Technician at Luton’s, you’ll be the hero who keeps our customers comfortable year-round. You’ll diagnose and heating and cooling systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Whether it’s routine maintenance or complex troubleshooting you’ll tackle each job with precision and care, knowing you have the full support of our dedicated office staff and field managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems (residential and commercial).
- Perform seasonal tune-ups and preventative maintenance.
- Provide expert recommendations to customers on system improvements and energy efficiency.
- Accurately complete work orders, service reports, and time logs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to explain services and system operations.
- Follow safety procedures and company protocols during all installations and repairs.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification in HVAC is a plus).
- EPA certification (required). NATE certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- At least 1-2 years of HVAC experience (entry-level candidates with training will be considered).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining professionalism.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces, on ladders, and outdoors in varying conditions.
Compensation:
- Pay Range: $28-$40/hr (depending on experience).
