Young Corp has need of a Helper / Grinder in our Harbor Island foundry.

SUMMARY
Cleans, deburrs, or grinds metal parts. Assists in machine shop activities and clean up.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Scrapes or rubs parts with file, wire brush or buffing cloth.
Holds part against buffing or grinding wheel. Changes tools or abrasive stones and discs on power tools.
Cleans surface of metal parts to accept coating material.
Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or off of pallets, skids, conveyors or trucks.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employee is usually exposed to fumes and vibration. Employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually loud.
Must be willing to wear appropriate safety equipment: hearing, eye, face protection and respirator.
